This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. Parkland County has updated the Traffic Hazard Alert. This alert is in effect for: Parkland County. Driving conditions throughout Parkland County are potentially dangerous and very poor. As the temperature drops and the rain turns to snow, visibility will be further reduced overnight. If you are in the affected area: Restrict travel this evening and overnight to essential travel only. Travel is not recommended on roadways in Parkland County, including Highways 16, 16 A, 43, 44, 770 and 779. Emergency Services and roadway maintenance vehicles are active throughout the County.
