The Thorhild County Public Works Department is responsible for the construction and maintenance of infrastructure within the County. Department tasks include
When necessary, Public Works also provides equipment and manpower to support Emergency Services responses.
The Public Works Department is responsible for the maintenance of approximately 1258 km of rural gravel roads and paved roads, street and back alley maintenance in seven hamlets and four subdivisions.
Residents are invited to register gravel trucks and heavy equipment
Thorhild County residents with gravel trucks and heavy equipment that wish to work for the County in 2023 must register by Friday, April 28, 2023.
