Apply for Utility Services

You must be the registered owner of the property to apply for utilities. Owners of rental properties have the option to have an “occupant copy” sent to the property, but the owner is ultimately responsible for the account.

Contact the Utilities Department at 780-398-3741 ext. 2811. Email utilities@thorhildcounty.com

The registered owner is responsible for the payment of utility.  Non-payment of utility bills could result in utilities being shut off and transfer of outstanding balances to the owner’s property tax account.

To arrange pre-authorized payments, applicants should fill in the Pre-Authorized Payment Form and send it to the County office along with a blank voided cheque from the account from which payments are to be made for monthly utilities.

Utilities bills can be email to you. To arrange for this service contact utilities@thorhildcounty.com
