This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. Alberta Health Services has updated its Boil Water Advisory for portions of Calgary.

A water main break resulted in depressurization and potential water quality impacts. Water quality testing is ongoing. The Boil Water Advisory remains in effect. This will be the final Alberta Emergency Alert related to this Boil Water Advisory. The suspect has been apprehended by police. He is now in custody and is no longer a threat to the community. Area: (This alert is no longer in effect.)

This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. Alberta RCMP have issued a Dangerous Person Alert.

An extremely dangerous man, Curtis Halliday, has multiple firearms and has already shot at multiple individuals near Grande Prairie. Curtis is 6 foot 3, caucasion with brown eyes and brown hair. He is on the run in a black 2022 Ford F-350, licence plate CMZ0105. Curtis was last known to be in the area northwest of Grande Prairie near LaGlace. Area: (This alert is in effect for northwestern Alberta, between Grande Prairie, Rycroft, and the B.C. border.)
