As a result of a power outage in the Hamlet of Granum a Boil Water Advisory has been issued. This will be the final alert for this matter. Further information may be accessed on the MD's website and social media channels. Area: (This alert is in effect for everyone in the Hamlet of Granum.)

Severe thunderstorms are expected to develop along the Foothills and move to the southeast this evening. These thunderstorms may be capable of producing a tornado in addition to large hail, heavy rain and strong wind gusts. ### This is a dangerous and potentially life-threatening situation. Tornado watches are issued when atmospheric conditions are favourable for the development of thunderstorms that could produce tornadoes.
