Severe thunderstorms are expected to develop along the Foothills and move to the southeast this evening. These thunderstorms may be capable of producing a tornado in addition to large hail, heavy rain and strong wind gusts. ### This is a dangerous and potentially life-threatening situation. Tornado watches are issued when atmospheric conditions are favourable for the development of thunderstorms that could produce tornadoes.
