Thorhild County’s Land Use Bylaw establishes rules and regulations for land development and regulates how land can be used, what can be built, where it can be built, and establishes the process for making decisions on development permit applications.  The Land Use Bylaw is undergoing a full review and update, which was adopted in 2015.

Thorhild County invites residents to the Land Use Bylaw Update Open House on Thursday, October 20, 2022,from 5 pm to 8 pm at the Thorhild Legion Hall. This is an opportunity for residents to learn more about the project and provide feedback.
