This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. The County of Grande Prairie has expanded the evacuation alert area.

There is a wildfire 5 km west of the Alberta/BC border. Winds are pushing the fire towards the Alberta border. The situation is being carefully monitored and if conditions do not improve, an evacuation will be required. Area: (Evacuation alert area expanded north and south to include everyone north of Township Road 710 to Township Road 740, east of the BC/Alberta border to Range Road 130.)

Everyone in Chateh must stay evacuated. No unauthorized personnel are allowed to return until the Order is lifted. Area: (The evacuation order for the entire community of Chateh is still in effect.)

There is a wildfire 7 km west of the Alberta/BC border. The situation is being monitored, and if conditions do not improve, an evacuation will be required. Area: (This alert is in effect for everyone located north of Township Road 720 to Township Road 732, east of the BC/Alberta border to Range Road 130.)

The fire south of the community remains out of control. Everyone must stay evacuated. No unauthorized personnel are allowed to return until the Order is lifted. Area: (The evacuation order for the community of Loon Lake remains in effect.)
