September 15 to 19, 2025, is Septic Awareness Week. The Western Canada Onsite Wastewater Management Association wants to remind everyone to be mindful of what goes down the drain and to take good care of their septic systems. During Septic Awareness Week, free virtual presentations will be held to provide information about the importance of maintaining septic systems and offer tips for proper operation.
