This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. Sturgeon County has updated its wildfire alert.

The Evacuation Order remains in effect for everyone between Range Road 213 East to Range Road 203, and Township Road 580 and the North Saskatchewan River to the south. See attached map for details. Area: (The alert is in effect for Sturgeon County. )

This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. Sturgeon County's Wildfire Evacuation Order remains in effect. Alert Area Lifted.

The Alert Area is on the map in blue. This was the area advised to prepare for possible evacuation, including all areas located from Rge Rd 203 East to the North Sask River and all areas from Rge Rd 213 West to Rge Rd 223, and the Town of Redwater. This area is no longer “on alert” effective 16:45hrs/4:45PM on May 12, 2025. The Evacuation Order Area is on the map in red. This Evacuation Order remains in effect and includes all areas located from Rge Rd 213 East to Rge Rd 203, all areas located from Township Road 580 South to the North Sask River. Active fire response efforts continue in the evacuation area. Area: ( This area is no longer “on alert” effective 16:45hrs (4:45PM) May 12, 2025.)

The wildfire burning near the Redwater Rec Area remains out of control. Area: (The evacuation order remains in effect for everyone between Township Road 580 south to the North Saskatchewan River between Range Road 213 East to Range Road 203. See attached map for details.)
