A full Fire Ban is in effect throughout Thorhild County. Current conditions are considered extreme. The following are prohibited: all outdoor burning, the use of explosive targets, and the discharge of fireworks. All forms of vehicles can be a serious source of ignition in extreme conditions. Use caution when working or driving in grassy areas.

This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. Sturgeon County has cancelled the evacuation order.

The evacuation order is no longer in effect. Evacuated residents are permitted to return to their homes as of 0900 hrs. Area: (The order is no longer in effect for Sturgeon County.)
