This photo shows a prairie storm approaching Radway on July 1, 2023. Margaret took the photo from her backyard, looking east across a bright yellow canola field toward the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary on Township Road 584.

The MD of Opportunity has rescinded the Evacuation Order due to SWF092, as the fire poses no immediate threat to the residents at this time. However, a 2 hour Evacuation Alert (be prepared to evacuate with two hours' notice) remains in place for all those in the vicinity of the fire.
