Position Summary

Thorhild County is seeking suitable individuals for the following positions for the 2025/2026 season:

Rental Shop (technicians & cashier)
Lift Operators
Cafeteria (Cooks & Cashier)
Ski Instructors
Snowboard Instructors

Required Qualifications

Physical ability to sit or stand for long periods and to perform a variety of manual tasks (lifting, squatting, bending, twisting, and climbing).
Some positions are performed with exposure to the outdoor elements.
Successful candidate will be required to provide a Criminal Records Check, Driver’s Abstract, and a Fitness to Work Assessment
Standard First Aid certification preferred or willing to obtain.

Additional Information

Positions included within the scope of the County’s unionized setting (IUOE Local 955). Pay range is ($22.47-$26.76) for these positions. Hours of work will vary. Must be available to work weekends. Current employees of Thorhild County fulfilling the requirements essential to this position shall be considered for this position.

The following localities are included in the warning: Schuler, Sandy Point Park, Redcliff, Suffield, Dinosaur Park, Buffalo and Empress. Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a very dangerous thunderstorm capable of producing damaging wind gusts, up to baseball size hail and heavy rain.
