The Subdivision and Development Appeal Board (SDAB) will be holding a hearing to consider an appeal of the decision of the Thorhild County Development Authority to approve a development permit for a proposed Event Barn for retreats, weddings, on the above describe property.

Location: Thorhild County Council Chambers, 801 - 1 street Thorhild, Alberta or via electronic means

If you are affected by the above appeal, you may be entitled to make submissions to the SDAB.

Here is what you can do:

a) you can provide visual or written submissions in advance of the hearing; and

b) you can attend in person or via electronic means to make a presentation at the hearing.

PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT YOUR ENTIRE SUBMISSION WILL FORM PART OF THE PUBLIC RECORD, as per the Municipal Government Act Section 686(4).

SDAB hearings are public and there is the reasonable expectation that submissions/presentations or correspondence, which may include personal or business information, could be disclosed at a public SDAB hearing and as part of the SDAB agenda package.

1. While the SDAB Clerk will accept visual or written material in advance of the hearing, the decision as to whether any or all of the materials will be considered by the SDAB remains with the SDAB.
2. Depending on the complexity and volume of the materials submitted, there may be a request for adjournment which the SDAB would consider on a case-by-case basis.
