Emergency Alerts

This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. Thorhild County has updated its wildfire alert.

The wildfire in the Redwater Provincial Recreation Area remains active. Area: (The Evacuation Alert remains in effect for the Southeast portion of Thorhild County, between TWP Rd 590 (Correction Line) and the TWP Rd 580 (Sturgeon County Boundary) between Rge Rd 203 & Rge Rd 221 including the Hamlet of Radway.)

This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. 511 Alberta has cancelled the hazardous road conditions alert.

Severe weather has improved and dangerous highway conditions are subsiding. Area: (This alert is in longer in effect for areas north and east of Calgary, as far north as Olds and as far east as Youngstown (see attached map).)

This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. 511 Alberta has issued a hazardous road conditions alert.

Severe winter weather conditions in south central Alberta are making safe travel impossible. Area highways and roads may be closed without notice, and emergency service may not be available in some areas. Area: (This alert is in effect for areas north and east of Calgary, as far north as Olds and as far east as Youngstown (see attached map).)

This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. 511 Alberta has updated the hazardous road conditions alert to apply to a larger area.

This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. The Town of Penhold has updated it Boil Water Advisory.

Water quality testing is still underway. The precautionary Boil Water Advisory remains in effect until testing confirms there is no contamination. This will be the final Alberta Emergency Alert related to this Boil Water Advisory. Ongoing updates will be provided through the Town of Penhold’s website and social media channels. Area: (The Boil Water Advisory remains in effect for areas within Penhold south of Minto Street. )
