A full Fire Ban is in effect throughout Thorhild County. Current conditions are considered extreme. The following are prohibted: all outdoor burning, the use of explosive targets, and the discharge of fireworks. All forms of vehicles can be a serious source of ignition in extreme conditions. Use caution when working or driving in grassy areas.

Parkland County Fire Services are still responding to a wildland fire North of Duffield between Twp Rd 530 north to Hwy 16, and between Rge Rd 32 West to Rge Rd 34. Area: (This alert remains in effect for everyone North of Duffield between Twp Rd 530 north to Hwy 16, and between Rge Rd 32 west to Rge Rd 34)
