Friday, August 15, 2025 24 Road Alerts, Local News Construction Notification: Selective Gravel Road Conditioning and Drainage Improvements Thorhild County is engaging the services of 2189040 Alberta Ltd. O/A GreenCut Group to undertake selective road conditioning and roadside ditching work. The work involves stabilizing targeted soft yielding areas of roadway throughout the County. For this work the roads will generally be closed and detours will in place to accommodate traffic. GreenCut Group representatives will contact affected landowners in advance to address any concerns. Contact information will be provided at that time. The scope of work also includes drainage improvements within the road right-of-way. It is anticipated that this work will commence on Thursday, August 21st and carry forward into the fall. The work will commence in the southwest portion of the County.
