Planned Water Outage

August 26, 2026

Please be advised that there will be a planned water outage on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, between 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. The outage is expected to last approximately 30 minutes while maintenance work is being completed at the Radway water plant.

Residents are asked to please refrain from using water during this time. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our office at 780-398-3741.

Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms which may produce a tornado. Funnel clouds in this area have been reported to be very close to the ground. It is possible that funnel clouds may touch the ground and become a brief landspout tornado. At 7:26 p.m. MDT, an extremely dangerous thunderstorm is located near Barnwell. This extremely dangerous thunderstorm is moving east at 45 km/h. Damaging wind gusts, baseball size or greater hail and heavy rain are possible. Locations and nearby areas that could be impacted include: Barnwell, Wrentham, Skiff ### Driving conditions will be difficult. Buildings and/or many trees will be destroyed. Large hail will cause significant damage and injury. Severe thunderstorm warnings are issued when imminent or occurring thunderstorms are expected to produce damaging hail, wind or rain.
