Thursday, May 29, 2025 10 Emergency Alerts This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. The MD of Opportunity No. 17 has updated it's wildfire alert. There is a wildfire threatening the Chip and Alpac road. The mandatory evacuation order for the community of Chipewyan Lake remains in effect. No unauthorized personnel are allowed to return to the community at this time.
