Emergency Alerts

There are a number of wildfires in the area and may affect access in and out of the community. Peerless Trout First Nation is issuing a mandatory evacuation order. Area: (The alert is for the communities of Peerless Lake and Trout Lake)

This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. The County of Northern Lights has issued a Wildfire Alert

An active wildfire has been identified in the area. All residents of Hawk Hills are advised to be prepared to evacuate on short notice. Area: (For residents north of Hawk Hills and around the Twin Lakes Provincial Park)

June 2

This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. The Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo has updated its wildfire advisory for Conklin due to the nearby LWF-090 wildfire burning southeast of the community.

This is a risk of wildfire LWF090 spreading towards the community. It is still burning out of control southeast of the community. Area: (This Alert is in effect for everyone in the area of CONKLIN.)

June 2

This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. The Kee Tas Kee Now Tribal Council has updated a wildfire alert.

Whitefish Lake First Nation #459, for the community of Whitefish River, has cancelled the 2 hour evacuation alert. Fire SWF-78 is no being held by Alberta Wildfire and does not create an immediate threat to the community. Area: (This alert is cancelled for the Whitefish River Community Utikoomak Lake IR #155A.)

June 1

This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. Westlock County has updated it's Wildfire alert.

Wildfire WWF023 which forced the evacuation of Hubert Lake Provincial Park is still out of control. The evacuation order for everyone in the area remains in effect. No unauthorized personnel are allowed to return at this time. The evacuated area is being patrolled by security personnel in unmarked vehicles. Area: (The evacuation order remains in effect for Hubert Lake Provincial Park area, on both sides of the Pembina River. )

June 1

This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. Yellowhead County has updated its Wildfire Alert for Robb and Mercoal

The wildfire in the area remains out of control. The mandatory evacuation order for the communities of Robb and Mercoal and everyone in the impacted area remains in effect. Area: (Robb and Mercoal areas)
