Wednesday, May 28, 2025 22 Emergency Alerts This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. The MD of Opportunity has issued a Wildfire Alert. SWF092 wildfire is burning to the southeast of the community of Red Earth Creek. The fire has shown significant growth this evening and is now approximately 10 kms from Red Earth Creek. With the forecasted winds and the intensity, the fire is anticipated to push towards the community. A one-hour evacuation notice has now been put in place for the Community of Red Earth Creek.
