Emergency Alerts

This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. Yellowhead County has issued a Wildfire Alert. There is a wildfire west of Mercoal.

There is a wildfire 6 km west of Mercoal,16 km southwest of Robb. The fire is burning to the north-north-east. Area: (This alert is in effect for Robb and Mercoal.)

This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. The County of Grande Prairie has expanded the evacuation alert area.

There is a wildfire 5 km west of the Alberta/BC border. Winds are pushing the fire towards the Alberta border. The situation is being carefully monitored and if conditions do not improve, an evacuation will be required. Area: (Evacuation alert area expanded north and south to include everyone north of Township Road 710 to Township Road 740, east of the BC/Alberta border to Range Road 130.)

Everyone in Chateh must stay evacuated. No unauthorized personnel are allowed to return until the Order is lifted. Area: (The evacuation order for the entire community of Chateh is still in effect.)

This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. The County of Grande Prairie has updated its Wildfire evacuation alert.

There is a wildfire 7 km west of the Alberta/BC border. The situation is being monitored, and if conditions do not improve, an evacuation will be required. Area: (This alert is in effect for everyone located north of Township Road 720 to Township Road 732, east of the BC/Alberta border to Range Road 130.)

This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. The Kee Tas Kee Now Tribal Council has updated it's wildfire alert.

The fire south of the community remains out of control. Everyone must stay evacuated. No unauthorized personnel are allowed to return until the Order is lifted. Area: (The evacuation order for the community of Loon Lake remains in effect.)

This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. The Kee Tas Kee Now Tribal Council has updated it's wildfire alert.

The wildfires in the area remain out of control. Everyone must stay evacuated. No unauthorized personnel are allowed to return until the Order is lifted. Area: (The evacuation order for Peerless Lake and Trout Lake remains in effect.)
