This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. Thorhild County has issued an Evacuation Alert Notice due to wildfire.

NO evacuation is required at this time. Residents on Range Road 214 - 221 and Township 584 - 590 should prepare to evacuate on short notice.

Area: This alert is in effect for residents on Range Road 214 - 221 and Township Roads 584 - 590.

Action to take:

  • If a mandatory evacuation order is issued you will have ONE hour to evacuate
  • Please start to gather your important documents and medications
  • Be prepared to evacuate

This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. Thorhild County has expanded the evacuation order. You must evacuate now.

This expanded evacuation order is in effect for everyone located on Range Roads 211 - 214 and Township Roads 580 - 584.

There is a wildfire near Range Roads 211 - 214 and Township Roads 580-584.

  • Everyone in the impacted area must evacuate now.
  • Stay tuned to local media for more information as it becomes available.
  • Please evacuate to the reception centre at Thorhild Community Hall, located at 15 – 7th Avenue, Thorhild.
  • Bring your important documents and medication and prepare to be away from home for at least 3 days
  • All residents in the evacuation area must report to the reception centre in person.
  • Registering in person is important to be eligible for future support.

This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. Thorhild County has issued a state of local emergency and an evacuation order due to wildfire.

Residents in the affected area must evacuate now. There is wildfire near Range Roads 203-211 and Township Roads 580-584.

  • This evacuation order is in effect for everyone located on Range Roads 203-211 and Township Roads 580-584.
  • Please evacuate to the reception centre located at Thorhild Community Hall, located at 15 – 7th Avenue, Thorhild.
  • Bring your important documents and medication and prepare to be away from home for at least 3 days.
