A full Fire Ban is in effect throughout Thorhild County. Current conditions are considered extreme. The following are prohibted: all outdoor burning, the use of explosive targets, and the discharge of fireworks. All forms of vehicles can be a serious source of ignition in extreme conditions. Use caution when working or driving in grassy areas.

This is an Alberta emergency alert. Sturgeon County has updated a wildfire alert.

The wildfire near the Redwater Recreation Area. Area: (Evacuation Alert Area is south of Township 580 to the North Saskatchewan River and east of RR212 to the North Saskatchewan River. The evacuation area has not been expanded.)
