This amber alert is for the abduction of a child on July 7 by his mother. Lanakai Morrison is age 6, white, male, slight build, long light brown hair, and brown eyes. Lanakai may be with his mother, Krista Morrison, a 35 year old female, 5 ft 8 in, medium build, with long dark brown hair and brown eyes. Krista may be driving a black 2015 Toyota Tundra with AB license plate CTN9517. They may be travelling with Daniel Ludwig, a 35 year old white male, 5 ft 11 in, large build, brown hair and brown eyes. They may also have Karl Morrison with them, a 4 year old white male, slight build, long dirty blonde hair and brown eyes Area: (In effect for everyone within 200km of Beaverlodge.)

At 8:12 p.m. MDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm that is producing a tornado. Damaging winds, large hail and locally intense rainfall are also possible. The tornado was last reported east of Chauvin and is moving to the southeast at 30 km/h. ### This is a very dangerous and potentially life-threatening situation. Tornado warnings are issued when a thunderstorm is producing or is likely to produce a tornado.
