Friday, June 20, 2025 26 Emergency Alerts This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. The County of Northern Lights has CANCELLED this Emergency Alert. The Slims Creek Fire (PWF050), in the vicinity of Twin Lakes and 30 km north of the Town of Manning has had slow fire growth due to cooler temperatures and rainy conditions. Work continues to contain the wildfire with heavy equipment, helicopters and firefighter crews. Twin Lakes Provincial Recreation Area remains closed.
