The wildfire burning near Winefred Lake is still out of control. All members of the public must evacuate the area. There is currently no timeline for re-entry. Area: (This alert is in effect for southern Winefred Lake and Grist Lake.)

The 'Slims Creek Wildfire' 050 is moving eastward to highway 35. Wind and dry conditions are fueling the fire. Area: (The County of Northern Lights issues an Evacuation Alert for Residents in the Hawk Hills Area.)

The wildfire is now 2 km from the Alberta border. Area: (The evacuation order is in effect for everyone located north of Township Road 710 to Township Road 740, east of the BC/Alberta border to Range Road 130. The evacuation alert has expanded east along Township Road 710, From Range Road 130 to 124 and has expanded north along British Columbia/Alberta border to Township Road 750 until Highway 43.  )
