This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. The Kee Tas Kee Now Tribal Council has updated it's wildfire alert.

The fire south of the community remains out of control. The mandatory evacuation order for everyone in Loon Lake remains in effect. Area: (The evacuation order for the community of Loon Lake remains in effect.)

Whitefish Lake First Nation #459 still requires everyone in the community of Whitefish River to be prepared to evacuate within 2 hours of notification, in case an evacuation of the community is required. The wildfire burning north of the community is still out of control. Area: (This alert is still in effect for the Whitefish River Community Utikoomak Lake IR #155A.)

Be prepared to evacuate within 4 hours of notification, in case an evacuation of the community is required. Wildfire SWF088 burning north of the community is still out of control. Lesser Slave Fire Department has added two crews for structural protection in the Hamlet of Marten Beach. Area: (This alert is in effect for everyone in the M D of Lesser Slave River located in the Hamlet of Marten Beach.)
