This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. Thorhild County has updated its wildfire alert.

There is a wildfire in the Redwater Provincial Recreation Area. Residents may return home but must remain prepared for a possible evacuation.

Area: This alert is in effect for everyone in southeast Thorhild County between the Correction Line and the boundary of Sturgeon County.

Affected areas (1):

• Thorhild County No. 7

Action to take:

• Thorhild County has downgraded the Evacuation Order to an Evacuation Alert for everyone located on Range Roads 203 - 214 and Township Roads 580 - 584
• Residents of Thorhild County may return to their homes, but must remain prepared for a possible evacuation with 1 hour's notice if conditions change
