Emergency Alerts

This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. Westlock County is issuing a Wildfire Alert.

There are two out of control wildfires in Westlock County threatening Fawcett and Larkspur. Everyone in the area must prepare to evacuate. Area: (This alert is in effect for the Hamlet of Fawcett and the Summer Village of Larkspur.)

The wildfire north of the James-Wilson Provincial Recreation Area is now Being Held. Area: (This alert is no longer in effect.)

This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. Clearwater County has extended its wildfire alert.

There is an out of control wildfire approximately 5 km north of the James-Wilson Provincial Recreation Area, northwest of Sundre near Highway 40 (Forestry Trunk Road) and Highway 584.) Area: (This alert remains in effect for the southern portion of Clearwater County, South of Township 35, East of Range 13, West of Hwy 22, as per the attached map.)
