New ID Cards Coming Soon

Cards being mailed the week of November 27, 2023

Thorhild County identification cards are required to access Thorhild and Long Lake Transfer Stations and Waste of Management Canada-Thorhild Landfill for all household waste.

New 3-year ID cards are being introduced and mailed to residents the week of November 27, 2023. Please watch your mailbox for your new ID card. The current 2023 ID cards will expire on December 31, 2023. Please ensure you have a new card by the end of this year.

Only one 3-year ID card per household will be necessary. Click here to apply for additional cards if misplaced or required for a tenant. Please contact Thorhild County at 780-398-3741 for further information.

Note: ID cardholders must show their cards to the transfer station attendants. Effective January 2024, transfer station attendants will be required to scan ID cards.
