Land Use Bylaw Rewrite Entering Final Phase
Thorhild County’s current Land Use Bylaw was adopted in 2015. A Land Use Bylaw is one of a municipality's most important sets of regulations. The Municipal Government Act requires each Alberta municipality to have its own Land Use Bylaw.
Over the years, several revisions were made to the Land Use Bylaw. Rewriting it would more effectively serve the community today and align it with development plans for the future
After a comprehensive review of the Land Use Bylaw and receiving public input, Thorhild County is sharing the final Land Use Bylaw draft for further review. Visit Land Use Bylaw Rewrite to view the draft documents, and to learn more about the Land Use Bylaw rewrite process.
