Thorhild Family Resource Centre Character Counts program wrapped up with an appreciation presentation to the members of Thorhild County’s Fire Department.
First session was focused about how gratitude helps build resiliency. During that session the Character Counts kiddos decided they’d like to show their appreciation to our Protective & Emergency Services personnel. During the next two sessions the focus was about what resiliency is and the importance of gratitude, perspective taking, integrity and inclusiveness, all while they worked on the appreciation bags. Some of the activities took the kids out of their comfort zone but they all persevered and put their heart into everything they did.
Thank you to Officers Nagys and Crosby for stopping by our weekly sessions and the members of Thorhild Fire Department for taking the time to visit with us. Most of all, thank you to the amazing kiddos that participated in the first ever Family Centre drop off program.
