Have you experienced flooding, erosion or other drainage concerns in Thorhild County? The County invites residents to share their experiences via a drainage questionnaire. Thorhild County is developing a Drainage Mitigation Plan with technical support from Sameng Inc. (an Edmonton-based engineering firm with specialized expertise in water resources engineering and drainage infrastructure assessments)

The first phase involves gathering information and reviewing the performance of existing drainage infrastructure. Residents’ feedback will help identify problem areas and inform future drainage improvements, maintenance programs and potential development policies. Please complete the questionnaire to describe where drainage issues occur, how often they happen and how they affect your property, roads or access. Your local knowledge will help guide the plan, which is anticipated to be completed by spring 2027.
