Application Opportunity Extended

Thorhild County is seeking one public member to serve on the Agricultural Service Board (ASB) for a two-year term, from January 1, 2027, to December 31, 2028. The Agricultural Service Board provides input on agricultural issues affecting Thorhild County. Members help inform Council's decisions and contribute to the development of policies that promote sustainable agricultural practices and improve economic viability for producers in the region. Board members also participate in the Resource Management Partnership Advisory Committee, helping review and approve conservation projects on agricultural land within the County.

Eligibility and Application Requirements

Applicants must reside within Thorhild County. Interested residents are invited to submit a resume outlining:

• Their agricultural background and experience.

• Knowledge of agricultural concerns and issues affecting the region.

• Any experience in policy development.

One public member position is available.
