Traffic Advisory: Temporary Lane Closure – Opal Highway

Between TWP RD 584 and TWP RD 582

A temporary lane closure is in effect on Opal Highway between TWP RD 584 and TWP RD 582 due to a road shoulder washout.

Crews are currently working in the area to complete repairs. Please use caution when traveling through the work zone and follow all posted signage and directions from flaggers, who will be on site to assist with traffic control.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to restore the roadway and reopen all lanes as quickly and safely as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

This dangerous thunderstorm is located just west of Suffield and is moving to the southeast at 65 km/h. Communities in the path include: Suffield Ralston ### This is a very dangerous and potentially life-threatening situation. Tornado warnings are issued when a thunderstorm is producing or is likely to produce a tornado. Area: (Cypress Co. near Suffield and Hwy 879, Cypress Co. near Bowell and Redcliff)

Communities in the path include: Ralston Suffield ### This is a very dangerous and potentially life-threatening situation.
