Bridge Repairs

The following tender #70788-25 has been posted on the Bids & Tenders website.

The scope of work involves repairs to two bridges.

  • Bridge File 70788, at NW 16-59-22-W4M, Range Road 224 over a Tributary to Redwater River
  • Bridge File 71253, at SW 30-58-22-W4M, Range Road 230 over the Redwater River

Bids are to be submitted no later than 2:00 pm, December 29th, 2025 (MST)

Water quality testing is still underway. The precautionary Boil Water Advisory remains in effect until testing confirms there is no contamination. This will be the final Alberta Emergency Alert related to this Boil Water Advisory. Ongoing updates will be provided through the Town of Penhold’s website and social media channels. Area: (The Boil Water Advisory remains in effect for areas within Penhold south of Minto Street. )

During routine testing of the water supply, low chlorine levels were found. Water samples have been taken and are being processed by the provincial laboratory. A boil water advisory has been issued as a precaution. The precautionary Boil Water Advisory will remain in effect until water quality testing confirms there is no contamination. Area: (This alert is in effect for areas within Penhold South of Minto Street.)
