 Localized Flooding Notice : Localized flooding is possible throughout Thorhild County. Residents are encouraged to monitor conditions, avoid flooded areas, and never drive through standing water. Stay informed and follow County updates as conditions change.
 Report blocked culverts, damaged roadways, or other emergent County problems through Public Works at 780-398-3977. For life threatening emergencies always call 911.

Property Assessment Inspections Underway

Assessors from Municipal Assessment Services Group Inc. (MASG) are conducting property assessment inspections. MASG conducts a cyclical inspection of properties to ensure property assessment data is accurate.

Assessors will be on-site walking the properties involved and collecting exterior pictures. New subdivisions, new construction or renovations, and new issued development & building permits are some of the components that will be inspected.

Inspections are conducted to ensure accurate and reliable property information. These inspections are authorized by the Municipal Government Act (MGA) (Section 294).

Assessors will be in marked vehicles with the Municipal Assessment Services Group Inc. logo on doors and wearing photo ID under the same name. All inspections will be conducted during normal business hours Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. The City of Beaumont has updated a water supply alert.

High wastewater and stormwater levels continue to affect the City of Beaumont. The wastewater system continues to operate over-capacity. Inspections and remediation work are ongoing. Wastewater and sewer backups and flooding are still a risk to the community as water levels have not yet stabilized. Area: (This alert only applies within the City of Beaumont boundaries.)

This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. Parkland County has updated a flood alert.

Heavy rainfall continues to push the wastewater system to capacity. Localized flooding and backups affecting individual homes and businesses have been reported. Continued excessive water use may increase the risk of additional sewer backups and flooding. Area: (This alert is in effect for the Hamlet of Wabamun.)
