The following are prohibted: all outdoor burning, the use of explosive targets, and the discharge of fireworks. All forms of vehicles can be a serious source of ignition in extreme conditions. Use caution when working or driving in grassy areas.

Family Day Fishing and Weiner Roast

Lions Club of Radway

Join our members for a Weiner Roast, Hot Chocolate and some Ice Fishing.

All are welcome at this FREE event. The ice fishing holes will be predrilled, dependant upon ice conditions. Attendees will need to bring their own ice fishing gear. There are picnic tables on site but if you wish to sit close to the fire we encourage you to bring along a lawn chair. This event is weather dependant. Cancellations will be announced on the Lions Club of Radway Facebook page.

The wildfire burning near the Redwater Rec Area remains out of control. Area: (The evacuation order remains in effect for everyone between Township Road 580 south to the North Saskatchewan River between Range Road 213 East to Range Road 203. See attached map for details.)

There is a wildfire in the Redwater Provincial Recreation Area. Residents may return home but must remain prepared for a possible evacuation. Area: (This alert is in effect for everyone in southeast Thorhild County between the Correction Line and the boundary of Sturgeon County.)
